You'll discover lush expansive grounds with rolling green pastures, moss covered fieldstone walls, shaded woodlands and cascading rivers. Stroll through the meadows or along the rushing waters and take in the lovely mountain views. Find romance and charm in the Hilltop Gazebo with sweeping valley vistas. Maybe you'd like to take a jaunt through the estate in our 1921 Model T touring car. A classic Vermont gentleman's farm, the property grows a variety of fresh vegetables and flowers and supports a blissful bevy of exotic chickens who provide fresh eggs for your gourmet country breakfasts. There are also several impressive rustic stone terraces along the river, complete with a large fire pit.

Fox Chair Mountain Farm specializes in tented outdoor events. A standard weekend program would consist of a 2 night stay at The Williams River House for up to 8 guests including two full gourmet country breakfasts and a Saturday daytime or evening event for up to 250 guests. To accommodate other overnight guests the villages of Chester and surrounding towns offer many lodging options to fit everyone's needs and budgets.
